RACE INFORMATION

This year the Blue Nose International Marathon race route is being designed to again showcase the City of Halifax and the natural beauty of our city surroundings.

SCOTIABANK FULL MARATHON

The Full Marathon and the Volkswagen Half Marathon begin together at 9:00 AM in downtown Halifax, at the Brunswick Street START - FINISH LINE, in front of the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill. This is a beautiful and somewhat hilly Race Route that will allow you to experience the new and historic neighborhoods and interesting sites of Halifax and Dartmouth.

VOLKSWAGEN HALF MARATHON

The Chronicle Herald 10K route will begin at 9:30 AM on Brunswick Street, in front of the historic Town Clock located on Citadel Hill, the same start line as the other runs.

McDONALD's TEAM RELAY - For YMCA Strong Kids

Myles is back and would love for you to walk or run in his shoes. Join hundreds of people who lace laced up their sneakers and come back each year to raise funds for kids and, as a group, take part in the largest race weekend east of Ottawa! The 2007 Team Relay raised over $40,000 for The YMCA Strong Kids Program, helping to provide financial assistance for Children and Youth to have affordable access to the character building programs of The YMCA in the Greater Halifax/Dartmouth region.
